A Town Explores a Book

Active Arts collaborates with Explore the Arch in ‘A town explores a book festival’.

Active Arts have done us proud again as they decorate our charity shop window with their work towards ‘A Town Explores a Book’. This years’ festival explores Mary Seacole’s Wonderful Adventures in Many Lands. An autobiography detailing the life of Mary and her childhood in Jamaica to her experiences of nursing in the Crimean war. Thank You to Juliette Dodd for working with the groups to create the work for this project. For more information, please visit http://atownexploresabook.com/
